3rd :iconsimplistic-odyssey: - Mayternity Through Time - Ancient GreeceOn the green hills of Greece, a soft breeze blew on it with a gentle waft of crisp fresh-water from the nearby river. The fluffy cumulus and cirrus clouds in the sky, with the high summer sun shining behind them, created a beautiful scenic picture. Resting on the hills, a loving mother watched her naïve son drink in this natural beauty. The young boy giggled to his heart’s content as he jumped and rolled on the hills under his mother’s careful watch. Each time he would roll on the grass, he would get grass stains on his white toga, but neither him or his mother cared. The mother just laid back and basked in the sun’s light, her long black hair sprawled out underneath her. The woman would have loved to participate with her son’s activities, but she was burdened with another child. Her bronze-skinned hand lazily reached and caressed her large baby bump that was covered by her tunic, a prominent sign of pregnancy. The last time that she was this big was about

Although historians are divided on exactly what surviving documents are truth, embellished, or complete fabrication, we do know that people are people in any era…

Jun yawned as she wobbled out of her cottage. The sun had risen hours ago, but her maternal body whined at her to crawl back under the covers. She had half a mind to listen to it as the strain on her legs asserted itself for the long day ahead. She nibbled on a meat bun left by her neighbours as she thought on recent events.
Her darling husband had conscripted in the Wu’s armies, feeling a need to repay the lords of the land for their generosity. She had given him a night to remember the day before he shipped out for the front lines, and now eight months later she was showing the fruits of that night of passion. She heard that the Wei army had suffered a massive defeat in Chibi province, and that the Shu

As soon as the door was shut behind her, Pope Joan slumped against it and sighed loudly. With a sloppy swipe, she knocked her hat aside, letting her golden pageboy hair spill outwards down to its full length.
"Finally," she muttered as she moved towards her bed, her short frame lightly bouncing underneath her robes. Normally, she would have stopped by her lover's quarters for one last passionate farewell before she returned to Vatican City, but the day's various services had been especially exhausting. She just wanted to get out of her disguise and go to sleep before the long horseback ride to her home.
She began, of course, with the immense mass of white fabric and yellow thread that marked her religious significance. As Joan pulled it over her head, the key to her disguise was revealed - a set of feather pillows, harnessed to her shoulders and back. With her robe on, the posit

16th :iconlad64: - Mayternity Through Time: ScotlandThe town of Kenmore was a decent town by Loch Tay in Scotland. There were beautiful sites, friendly townsfolk, and was home to the best oatmeal you could find in the whole world, all in all it's a nice place to live. Another upside was that nobody was lazy, everyone was hardworking. But if you were to ask who the most hardworking people were it wasn't the blacksmiths. The weavers? No. How about the hunters? Sure they run into some dangerous creatures but still, nope. The answer: the farmers. If you were born into the farmer's life in Kenmore, you'd be working your butt off as soon as you were able to walk and talk. Farming was quite difficult in Kenmore, mostly tending to the fields.
The top of Fiona's head ached from the weight of the jug she was holding. It was filled to the brim with water that splashed all around inside yet Fiona was being careful not to spill a single drop. She turned a corner of the dirt path she was on and came upon a field with several rows
